Little Companion – Terms of Use

1. Eligibility & Parent Operation

Little Companion is intended to be set up and operated by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. Children do not create accounts and do not use the App directly — they listen to stories the parent selects and plays. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of any content played through the App.

2. How the Service Works

Little Companion generates personalized bedtime stories for your child based on details you provide — such as your child's name, age, pronouns, favorite things, values, learning topics, companions, and friends. Each story is produced with the help of AI as text, narrated audio, and a cartoon illustration, and is checked against safety guidelines before it is made available to play.

3. Your Account

You can sign in with an email and password, with Sign in with Apple, or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and any parental lock PIN confidential, and for all activity under your account. Please sign out on shared devices.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Enter content that is harmful, abusive, hateful, defamatory, or that violates another person's rights or privacy — including using a real person's name or likeness without an appropriate basis.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, scrape, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the App or its safety systems.
• Share your account or child profiles with anyone you don't trust to act in the child's best interest.

5. AI-Generated Content

Stories, narration, and illustrations are generated using AI. We apply prompt filtering, automated moderation, and editorial guidelines, but AI can occasionally produce unexpected results. As the parent operator, you choose which stories to play for your child and should review content where appropriate. If you encounter content that seems inappropriate, please report it so we can review it.

6. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Little Companion offers a free plan and paid auto-renewing monthly subscriptions (currently the Dreamer and Family plans), which unlock higher weekly story limits, longer stories, and more child profiles. Current plan features and prices are shown in the App.

Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, and your subscription renews automatically each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its branding, software, narrator voices, and the generated stories, audio, and illustrations are owned by United Logic Tech or its licensors. For your personal, non-commercial family use, you may listen to and enjoy the stories generated for your child. You may not redistribute, sell, or commercialize the content or the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the App's settings.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Little Companion is intended for entertainment and gentle, age-appropriate bedtime content; it is not a medical, psychological, educational, or developmental service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Logic Tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which United Logic Tech operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
