This Privacy Policy describes how Little Companion ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Little Companion mobile application (the "App" or "Service"). Little Companion is parent-operated — kids never sign in, they just listen.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to personalize a bedtime story:
- Parent account: name, email, and authentication details (e.g., sign-in with Apple or Google).
- Kid profile: nickname, age range, gender (optional), and a photo (optional, stored on-device unless you opt to sync).
- Story context: stuffed animals, real-life friends' first names, favorite colors and activities, values you want featured.
- Device information: device model, operating system, and app version for diagnostics.
- Usage information: which stories were generated and listened to, to improve recommendations.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate personalized bedtime stories that include your kid's name, their world, and the values you choose.
- Improve story quality, narration, and recommendations over time.
- Communicate updates, send story reminders, and provide customer support.
- Keep the App safe, secure, and working as expected.
3. Children's Privacy
Little Companion is operated by a parent or legal guardian. Children do not create accounts and do not interact directly with the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The kid profile is created and managed by the parent.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Service providers who help operate the App (cloud hosting, analytics, payments).
- Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to minimize risk and limit access to what is necessary.
6. Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account and associated kid profiles at any time from the App settings.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information.
